We are surly riding the waves of uncertainty these days. When we stepped into 2020 and the year of the Emperor. I, like many others, imagined myself standing confidently on a mountain top. I imagined feeling grounded, certain, and powerful. However, like so many expectations versus reality, the Universe had a totally different rendition of the Emperor. And let me first say, that it is not that we were WRONG in our perception of The Emperor, just perhaps in our timing. Because the Emperor is not joking around. We are being called to release ego and understand that “power” does not come from a damn thing that exists outside of us. Not our social media following, our material wealth, or even in our physical health. It comes from our soul. This full moon in Virgo, smack in the middle of Pisces season is hitting us in a very specific way. Many of us are feeling the effects of the recent rise of collective fear. The uncertainty and intensity is leaving us feeling emotionally and physically drained, with the big question: am I ok? We are juggling our present moment, with this looming idea of impending doom and that shit is exhausting. This Virgo moon is asking us to reach deep, way deep, into our internal knowingness and self-validate. You see, at the core of our existence we already know we are ok. In our soul, we lexist in a perpetual state of love and acceptance. However, we are most certainly human and the outside world seems to constantly disempower this part of ourselves. So what can we do? Huge themes for this Full Moon and the week ahead, radical self-love. Radical because it must surpass all previous incarnations of self-love. We must let go of self-doubt, of body dissatisfaction, of comparisons, all of it must go. Life is too precious. Life is too important to worry what size pants you fit into or if you’ve accomplished all you thought you would by now. Radical self-love and an act of war against all that threatens this. When we stand in love and release the cold grip of fear, we are more powerful and more connected than we have ever been. If there is one invitation you take this month, this year, let it be to love yourself without limitations. PS: you still need to wash your hands.
