Will the last sign of the Zodiac give us the closure we need for 2019? For many of us, it feels like 2020 hasn’t fully began. The Hanged Man energy of “hurry up and wait” has followed us into the first few months of the year. A poorly placed snow day or the flu has kept us in pause when we’ve wanted to create. Pisces New Moon is here to bring us fully into the Emperor, but first it’s going to really flip us on our heads. We must sink even further into our subconscious than we have dared to go. Grappling with the age old question of “what am I even doing here?!”. Pisces is known as the Dreamer of the Zodiac, it connects us with the deepest, most profound, most fundamental dreams of our soul. There is no dream too big for Pisces. When your ego says “how could we even do that?” Pisces say “how can we NOT do that?”
With this deep soul searching and awakening of the dreams of the past, we will inevitably come up against the fear and shame that keeps us from pursing these dreams. When you think about your childhood dream of becoming a chef you might remember all the reasons it was an impractical dream. Here is the deal though. We did not come here to play small. We did not come here to pay bills and hate our jobs. We came here to be the embodied expression of our soul’s truth. We cannot do this by playing it safe, believe me I have tried. While this new moon is creating a beautiful portal for realizing our dreams, I encourage you to journey deep with it. Journal about everything you have ever wanted to do, everywhere you have wanted to live, and everyone you want to surround yourself with. Let your soul be heard! When your fear voice comes up, which it inevitably will, notice what it is trying to communicate. Is this really the truth? Follow the thread, when did this start? Did you take on someone else's belief system? Are you bringing an experience from the past into the present moment? Is there someone you need to forgive? Is it yourself? What chains keep you locked in place? Be inquisitive. I suggest journaling, meditating, getting out in nature (particularly near water) to help sink into this invitation of expansion. It is so much easier to shut out fear than to dive into it’s depths. Sometimes it feels like our pain has no bottom, I promise you it does. I have been there. I have fallen down that well and it was when I finally hit the ground that I put down the roots of the life I am living now. The authentic, sometimes messy, always beautiful, life I get to call my own. All I can say, is do the work. Follow the thread, even if it unravels the whole entire sweater, keep pulling. It is always worth it in the end. When it feels like too much, reach out for help. While some of this work is ours to do alone, there is such beautiful gifts in support. This Sunday, March 1st, is the next Moon Circle at Shilo Farm (note a time change 6-8pm). Even when we feel like we have nothing to give, there is something so beautiful and often indescribable that happens when we come together in circle. We are all stronger together than we are alone. And if you are looking for one on one support, please reach out to me for details on my individual offerings.

It may still be cold here in the Northeast, but things are heating up with this Full Moon in Leo. This moon is asking us to RECLAIM what is ours! Reclaim our passion, our bodies, our voice, our anger, our heat. Leo’s fiery aspects are igniting in us the need and desire to take up more space. This is going to look and feel a little differently for everyone, depending on what you need to work on and where you are in your journey. Here are a few of the ways that this fire might show up for you.
Reclamation of Sexuality (aka horny as hell) The Leo moon is stirring up a serious case of the hornys! If you have been somewhat shut down sexually, this moon offers a wonderful jump start. Our culture views of sexuality are very skewed. It’s this weird paradigm where culturally we are utterly obsessed, but personally we offended and reserved. No more! Leo wants us to claim what is ours! Let’s throw out the outdated idea that sexuality is somehow offensive and that self-pleasure is dirty. This Full Moon is grabbing us by our yoni’s and asking us to dive deep into pleasure. Whether you are in a relationship or not, create time in your schedule for toe curling pleasure this weekend. Another wonderful way to connect with sexual energy is through sensual dance! Connect with your anger If the cathartic release you are looking for is not of the sexual nature, the fiery energy might be bringing old anger to the surface. Do you know how powerful anger can be? The problem is we usually bottle it up until it overflows in inappropriate ways. We rage in traffic, yell at our kids, or get passive aggressive with our coworkers. Anger is not inherently bad, it’s a tool to show us when we are not sitting in our truth. It is supposed to key us in to necessary changes in our lives. However, if we are constantly stuffing down these emotions with food, distractions, and other forms of escapism, we are not creating the changes in our lives that we need. The Leo Full Moon is asking us to take a serious look at what makes us angry. Dive into it, feel it out, let it sink in, and then create and action plan to generate change. Some of my personal rage releasing activities include hitting a punching bag and running! Passion into Creation Some of us may be feeling our passion stirring in yet another way. Creation energy. Writing a business plan, reaching out to a valuable contact, booking a retreat or signing up for a course. The excitement and motivation associated with this moon might just give you the push to put plans into action. If you are feeling lit up in this way, definitely maximize your efforts this moon and really put yourself out there. Full Moon’s in general are an exceptional time to be seen and heard, and this moon is especially potent. How to Maximize the Medicine of this Moon Whatever it is you are feeling this weekend, the most important thing is to FEEL IT. Sink in, don’t shy away. Notice your body, what is it asking for? Gentle movement? Rough sex? Axe Throwing? Listen and respond. Our bodies are incredibly wise and when listened to, lead us exactly where we need to go. Here are some tools that might help!
